Juan Ibarlucía is an Argentine composer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and music theorist.

His work encompasses a wide range of practices, formats, and techniques, spanning from experimental opera to electronic and electroacoustic music, post-punk, and various forms of popular music. His discography includes more than fifteen albums, as well as original works for film, theatre, and contemporary dance. As a solo artist and leader of diverse musical projects, he has performed hundreds of concerts at festivals throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States, including appearances at South by Southwest (USA), BIME (Spain), and Primavera Sound Buenos Aires (Argentina). His work has received recognition from specialized media across Latin America.

He is the founder and director of Territorio, a Buenos Aires–based educational space, recording studio, and record label. He has developed workshops, residencies, and seminars in Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Peru, and El Salvador, collaborating with internationally recognized institutions and delivering lectures and specialized training programs. He currently serves as Professor of Music Production at the National University of Tres de Febrero and at the University of La Punta. He has also taught Experimental Music at the National University of the Arts. His first book, Diarios del Ruido, published in 2025 by Casa Firpo, was named one of the ten books of the year by Argentine media outlets. He has received distinctions, grants, and nominations from the National Endowment for the Arts of Argentina, the National Institute of Music, the Buenos Aires Biennial, the Mercedes Sosa Award, and the Carlos Gardel Awards, among other institutions.
